Neverland Ocean Learning
is an ocean education nonprofit with a mission to start a movement that excites youth about the ocean by creating and sharing unique ocean education content.
This idea was largely inspired by Donna and her passion for youth education, all things ocean-related, and travel. You can learn more about how we plan to accomplish this as we sail around the world at oceanlearning.org.
What does Neverland Ocean Learning do?
We team up with scientists who are doing cutting-edge ocean research and create videos to communicate their findings and message to a youth audience. This is done using a fun and interactive video format with interviews, demonstrations, and more put together to create what we call an Ocean Discovery Episode. Each episode features a different scientist and topics can range from endangered birds living on marshes to jellyfish that live in the deep sea. You never know exactly what each might bring, but we can guarantee that each episode will be centered around ocean conservation, marine biology, or maritime history – or all three!
